According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, officers were called to Gerald Avenue on March 23 after reports of a man jumping fences and entering a backyard near the intersection of Dixie Highway and Greenwood Road. When officers arrived, they discovered Wilson injured and in need of immediate medical attention. He was quickly taken to Mary & Elizabeth Hospital, where doctors worked to treat his injuries.
